Monday, May 21st from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m
In partnership with The Boston Foundation, Teach Plus Massachusetts is engaging leading educators from across the Boston educational landscape in an open dialogue with school and district leaders, policy makers and educators. We have launched our cohort of EDX Teaching Fellows in February and will lead the planning and implementation of two more summits for teachers and school leaders. EDX Teaching Fellows will develop recommendations for accelerating improvements in student achievement across all of Boston’s school sectors.
The first summit introduced participants to the theme of the EDX Summits and Teaching Fellows project and provided participants with background data on Boston student achievement. The purpose of the project is to promote shared learning and generating recommendations on how we can best support student success across district, charter and Catholic schools in the city.
The second educator summit is scheduled for Monday, May 21st from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Boston Foundation offices at 75 Arlington Street. Teachers, administrators, parents and students are all invited to engage in a town hall style dialogue with EDX Fellows about the current state of education across the Boston education landscape and how we can work together to improve outcomes for all students.
