About Teach Plus PA

The mission of Teach Plus is to empower excellent, experienced, and diverse teachers to take leadership over key policy and practice issues that advance equity, opportunity, and student success. Every day, our dedicated teacher leaders are making a difference for Pennsylvania’s students in their classrooms while spending their limited after-school and weekend free time participating in Teach Plus programming so they can drive positive changes that improve education for every student in the commonwealth, from increasing literacy rates to strengthening and diversifying our teacher workforce, and ensuring that our schools are equitably and adequately funded. We achieve our mission through a combination of policy advocacy, program implementation, and teacher leadership development.

Why it Matters

Pennsylvania faces a $4.5 billion unconstitutional funding gap that deprives low-wealth districts of essential resources.
A worsening teacher shortage crisis is driving high turnover and vacancies, disproportionately impacting low-income students and students of color.
Persistently low reading proficiency rates underscore the need for evidence-based, science-aligned literacy instruction to ensure every student gains the foundational skills for future success.

To move Pennsylvania toward equity and improved student outcomes, Teach Plus PA focuses on five high-impact areas and aligns our programs to advance each one:

Event Partnership Opportunities

VISIONARY LEADER ($25,000 and above)

Premier presenting sponsor; featured logo on all materials; full-page digital ad; speaking opportunity during program; 10 (ten) event tickets; inclusion in press release and post-event media; option to host a pre-event VIP gathering or educator meet-and-greet.

**CHANGE MAKER (*$20,000***)

Prominent logo on materials and event signage; 8 (eight) event tickets; half-page ad; recognition from stage; inclusion in post-event press and social media.

EMPOWERMENT PARTNER
($10,000)

Logo placement on event signage and program; 6 (six) tickets; social media spotlight; optional co-branded educator story feature.
