Alison Rausch is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Mississippi Teaching Policy Fellow. Alison is a 5th and 6th grade special education teacher in both the resource and inclusive setting at Wheeler Attendance Center in Booneville, Mississippi, where she has served as a 21st Century Community Learning Communities tutor, check In/check out coordinator, and a Junior Beta Club cosponsor. Previously, she worked as a special educator at Coldwater Attendance Center in Coldwater, Mississippi. At Coldwater, she served as the special education department chair, Safe and Drug-Free Schools representative, and as a crisis management team member. Alison earned a BS in Special Education from Mississippi State University with, a MEd in Education from Union University, and an EdS in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.
