Education is not just about the process of acquiring knowledge, it is key to becoming  a responsible and aware citizen of the world.

Sarah Alecozay is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Sarah teaches AP Human and World Geography as a master teacher at CAST Medical High School.  She has implemented professional development, developed AP course curriculum for the district, and has served as department chair at previous campuses. Sarah has led students in service learning projects, volunteer clubs,  and project-based learning application of course work. She has also taught in Somerset and South San ISD and internationally in West Africa at The American International School of Niger in Niamey, Niger and as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sierra Leone. Sarah holds a BA in International Relations, a Masters in International Development, and a Principal Certification from Lamar University.
