Ana Acosta is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow and a kindergarten teacher at Bethel Park Elementary located in Indianapolis, Indiana. She creates and facilitates a culturally responsive and rigorous curriculum for 25 kindergarteners and implements behavior management. She taught Spanish to students in grades K-2 for one year and is currently the lead kindergarten teacher on her campus. She began her teaching career in Indianapolis as a Teach for America corps member and kindergarten teacher and has continued in her role since completing the program. She earned a BA in Spanish at York College, City University of New York and an MA in teaching at Marian University.
