Zuri Bird is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Philadelphia Affinity Group Network Facilitator and special education teacher at Mastery Charter School at Clymer Elementary in Philadelphia. She serves as a teacher mentor, coaching colleagues and sharing best practices to promote professional growth. Zuri has extensive experience supporting students with autism and developmental needs through individualized instruction, partnering with families, and fostering inclusive learning environments. She earned a BS in fashion design from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, MEd in preK-4 and special education from Arcadia University, and a supervisor of special education certificate from Eastern University.
