Christina Shaul

Christina Shaul is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow. Christina teaches 5th and 6th grade English language arts and social studies at Theodore Potter School 74 in Indianapolis, IN. She serves on the school’s leadership, immersion, curriculum and instruction committees, and is the lead teacher for high ability. Previously, she was the district magnet coordinator for Indianapolis Public Schools and led district work in developing and expanding magnet schools, grant writing, creating, planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum for magnet schools. Christina was a 2020 Top Ten Teacher of the Year Finalist for Indianapolis Public Schools and the 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year at Theodore Potter School 74. She is a Teach Plus Change Agent Teacher Leader and was a recipient of Lilly Endowment Teacher Creativity Fellowship Program. Christina earned her BS in Elementary Education and Special Education from Ball State University and her MEd in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.
