Domonique Briggs is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Change Agent Teacher Leader. Domonique is a 10th grade music teacher and choir instructor at Epic Academy, located in Chicago’s South Shore Community. She is the co-founder of SHE Chicago, a character education-based after school program designed to empower high school-aged young women, and launched SHE’s pilot cohort in 2017 at Epic. Prior to transitioning into education, Domonique was a team leader for the Wellness Platform team of Humana Vitality (2014), a Diamond Star Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics (2013) and named an Emerging Leader of PNC’s Retail Leadership Development Program: ACCEL (2012). She earned a BS in Music Engineering Technology from Hampton University.
