Erica Kang Dunbar is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Erica provides special education services to middle school students at YES Prep Northwest. She previously taught at YES Prep Northbrook where she served as testing coordinator for the special education department, and at YES Prep Southeast where she held roles as varsity cheerleading coach, course facilitator for a districtwide college prep class, and faculty leader of the Asian Student Association. She graduated from Ohio State University with a BS in Human Ecology and received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston.
