Kallie Jones is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Teaching Policy Fellow. Kallie is a 1st grade teacher at Mary E McDowell Elementary School in the Calumet Heights Area on the south side of Chicago, where she is on the Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) and is the Primary Department chair. Kallie is a Teach Plus Chicago Change Agent Fellowship alumna, an alumna of the Educator for Excellence National Teacher Advisory group, and the Chicago Teachers Union delegate for her school. Kallie earned a BA in English from Michigan State University and an MEd in Youth Development from University of Illinois-Chicago.
