Koli Jamerson is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Colorado Teaching Policy Fellow. Koli teaches 1st grade at Altura Elementary in Aurora Public Schools, where she is the 1st grade team lead, is on the equity and engagement committee, and was a founding member of the restorative practices committee. Koli previously taught kindergarten at Altura, where she co-sponsored student council. She graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in Political Science, received her MA in Education from Adams State, and attended the Boettcher Teacher Residency.
