Luis Ramos is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Illinois Berkeley Teacher Leader. Luis is an 8th grade science teacher at MacArthur Middle School, where he runs after school detention to restore positive relationships with students and teachers. He works with Junior National Honor Society and students who wish to pursue higher education through his school’s college bound program. Luis graduated from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Science and received an MA in teaching from Dominican University.
