Monica Hall

Monica Hall is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas DFW Policy Fellow. Monica teaches 6th grade PreAp science at Dallas Environmental Science Academy, where she also volunteers as the special education liaison. She coaches track, writes science curriculum, and teaches CPR/First Aid for Dallas ISD. While teaching at Greiner Middle School for performing arts, Monica was the science department leader and received her Distinguished Teacher recognition ranking in the top 10% of teachers for Dallas ISD. She also coached cross country and track, successfully hosting districtwide track meets accommodating more than 20 middle schools and their athletes. She received her BA from Texas A&M University Commerce, an MA in Education in the field of Special Education from Grand Canyon University, and an MA in Education from Concordia University in the Field of Curriculum and Instruction, Teacher Leadership in Science (K-14).
