Nicholas Clark

Nick Clark is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Texas DFW Policy Fellow. Nick teaches geometry, algebra 2, and sheltered English mathematics classes at Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth ISD. He has developed and directs the district’s esports program in collaboration with universities, local businesses, and other stakeholders. Nick works to drive student interest in STEM through gaming, and to connect students to scholarship opportunities in the emergent world of competitive gaming. Nick is a member of the AVID site team, campus teacher leadership team, and attended the Teach To Lead Summit in Nashville, TN in the spring of 2018. He was named a Warren Fellow in 2006 and has taken leadership roles in various initiatives and mentoring programs in addition to driving several new technology-related initiatives. Nick received a BS in Interdisciplinary Mathematics and Science Education and an MEd in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.
