Claudia Obeid Limongi is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Claudia teaches 7th and 8th grade Spanish at Briarmeadow Charter School in Houston, Texas. She is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in language instruction. Having taught Spanish for six years and spent one year teaching English in Spain, she brings a global perspective to her classroom. Claudia’s commitment to supporting multilingual learners is evident through her role as the LPAC coordinator on campus, where she advocates for their needs and fosters an inclusive environment. Previously, Claudia served as a multilingual specialist and mentor, guiding students to achieve language proficiency and cultural understanding. She holds a BA in international development from the University of St. Thomas and an MEd in education policy and leadership from American University.
