Bianca Prieto is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow. Bianca is a 5th grade math teacher at Robinson Middle School in Lowell, Massachusetts. She centers her teaching in areas to motivate and navigate students that are bilingual/multilingual/bicultural practices, gifted and talented, and students of special needs. She has mentored new hire teachers and has coached elementary math teachers. Bianca was awarded the Sontag Award, Innovative Teacher of the Year, and Rookie Teacher of the Year. Bianca has taught in various states across the country serving in Title I schools in the last six years. She earned her BS in elementary education from Houston Baptist University and an MEd in educational leadership and policy studies from Boston University.
