Susan Seitz is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Indiana Policy Fellow. Susan teaches 8th grade science at Parke Heritage Middle School in Marshall, IN, where she is the adviser for the National Junior Honor Society and the science club. Susan is a member of the Hoosier Association of Science Teachers (HASTI) and an adjunct environmental science instructor for Indiana State University College Challenge Program. She has been involved in the Indiana Academic Standards for Science and has been a reader for ECA Biology and the AP Environmental Science exams. Susan graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Animal Science and received a BS in Science Education and an MS in Geography and Science Education from Indiana State University. She is working towards a PhD in Curriculum Instruction Media Technology in Science Education at Indiana State University.
