Garfield Warren is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Colorado Senior Policy Fellow. He is an 11th and 12th grade Advanced Placement (AP) United States history, AP African American studies, and Political Science 180 concurrent enrollment teacher at DSST: Green Valley Ranch High School in Denver. Garfield serves on the DSST Transformational Talent Team. He previously participated in the Urban Leaders Fellowship, collaborating with Colorado Rep. Jennifer Bacon to support Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, and led a youth program for Gary Community Ventures. Garfield earned a BS in public law and American government from Eastern Michigan University and an MPA from Western Michigan University.
