Arthur Polly is the Teach Plus Texas Education Leadership Coach, leading the work with the Richardson ISD Leadership Fellows and providing support to the Harmony project as needed. In addition, he will closely collaborate with the Richardson ISD Teacher-Led Community Connections Network.
Arthur began his career as a Policy intern for the Children’s Defense Fund, and later as an Urban Education Leaders intern with DC Public Schools. Not soon after graduating, Arthur joined Teach for America Houston where he spent four years teaching 8th grade Social Studies and championing educational equity. Before joining Teach Plus, Arthur worked as a district Multi-Tiered System of Supports manager—specializing in professional development, coaching, research, and project management. Arthur earned his Doctorate in Urban Educational Leadership and Social Policy from Morgan State University.
