Martha Alba-González is a dual-immersion kindergarten teacher and Emergent Bilingual Change Agent in Long Beach, California. As an immigrant and English learner herself, Martha is an advocate for biliteracy and early literacy. As an Emergent Bilingual Change Agent, Martha works with a team at her school to provide teachers with the necessary resources to empower emergent bilingual students in the process of language acquisition and grade level competency, support and meet their academic and social-emotional needs.
