James Jack is Research Associate at Teach Plus. Jame is a doctoral student at Harvard's Graduate School of Education. His research draws on organizational and neo-institutional theory to study education reforms with an emphasis on those aimed at changing teacher practice. Prior to attending Harvard, James conducted state and district-level policy analysis and evaluated the implementation of educational programs in K12 and Higher Education settings. He has a BA in Sociology from the Pennsylvania State University and two master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, a MS in Social Policy from the School of Policy and Practices and a MSEd in Statistics from the Graduate School of Education. When Jack is not conducting research, he is spending time with his partner, Deirdre, and dog, Finnegan, exploring the Boston area.
