James Jack (he/him/his) is a Research Associate at Teach Plus. James’ work involves providing quantitative support to state teams on survey creation and data analysis. Currently, he is a doctoral student at Harvard's Graduate School of Education studying teaching and schooling from a sociological perspective. Prior to attending Harvard, James conducted state and district-level policy analysis and program evaluation in K12 and Higher Education settings. He has a BA in Sociology from the Pennsylvania State University and two master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Social Policy from the School of Policy and Practices and an MSEd in Statistics from the Graduate School of Education. When James is not conducting research, he is spending time with his partner, Deirdre, and dog, Finnegan.
