New Mexico Program Associate

Liz joins Teach Plus as the New Mexico Program Associate. Prior to Teach Plus, Liz lived in Michigan, where she was the Artistic Director of the Novi Choralaires Community Choir and the private voice instructor for the Saline High School Choir Program. She previously served as the Director of Music Ministries at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ann Arbor for over thirteen years, and  taught Jr. High and High School choir in Richardson, Texas, where her choir was selected to perform for the Texas Music Educators Convention.

Liz Wolber recently relocated to Albuquerque, NM and sings with the New Mexico Symphonic Chorus and Polyphony: Voices of New Mexico. Liz always has been passionate about sharing the joy of music through teaching, and especially loves working with teens. Liz looks forward to bringing her skills in planning, organizing, and attention to detail to support the Teach Plus Network and the Teacher Policy Fellowship programs in New Mexico. She has a M.M. (Master in Music) in Choral Conducting from Southern Methodist University, and a B.A. in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Albion College.
