WASHINGTON, D.C.—Ninety-five percent of teachers think providing more time, tools, and support to educators should be Presidential candidates’ main focus when it comes to improving public education, according to a new Teach Plus poll. Overall, teachers strongly support all of the TeachStrong principles to modernize and elevate the teaching profession, which include increasing compensation, creating career pathways for growth, and reimagining teacher preparation, among others.
