Nominations and Applications Now Open at www.teachplus.org/co
Denver, CO, March 31, 2025—Teach Plus, a national nonprofit that empowers teachers to lead student-centered improvements in educational policy and instructional practice, is now accepting applications and nominations for its 2025-2026 Colorado Policy Fellowship and Colorado Charter Teacher Policy Fellowship. These selective, paid leadership opportunities prepare outstanding educators to influence education policy and advocate for equitable outcomes for all Colorado students.
Both fellowships are designed for current classroom teachers who are ready to expand their impact while continuing to teach. Fellows receive in-depth training in policy, advocacy, and communications, and work directly with decision-makers to advance student-centered solutions.
“Teachers are the bridge between policy and the classroom, and when their voices help shape the systems they work within, students benefit. Through both the Policy Fellowship and the Charter Fellowship, we’re investing in educators who are ready to lead—not just in their schools, but across Colorado’s education landscape,” said Dr. Jamita Horton, Executive Director of Teach Plus Colorado.
