Abby Taylor is a Teach Plus Indiana Teaching Policy Fellow who teaches 2nd grade at Geist Elementary School in Fishers, Indiana. Prior to coming to Geist Elementary she taught for 10 years in Indianapolis Public Schools where she was the 2016 Teacher of the Year at William McKinley Elementary School. She has served on many teacher leader committees at both the school and district levels, and is the only teacher to serve on the Indiana State Data and Reporting Committee. She graduated from Taylor University with her BS in Elementary Education and received her MA in Teaching from Marian University with an emphasis on School Leadership.
