Alina Acosta is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Alina is a high school math teacher at AUL Denver in Denver, Colorado. She teaches Integrated Math III as well as concurrent enrollment and is part of the DU design improvement team. Alina has been a cohort member and mentor for The New York Times Teaching Project and the Harvard Teacher Fellows. Alina also teaches at the Porter-Billups Leadership Academy and serves on the executive board of the mountain biking non-profit Lucky to Ride. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in engineering sciences from Harvard College and her MEd from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
