Adam Zimmermann is an 8th grade English and Language Arts teacher and building data coordinator at Truesdell Educational Campus in Washington, D.C. As a Teacher Leadership Innovation Fellow, Adam serves in a hybrid capacity – teaching half time and serving as the data coordinator half time. Adam is working to help facilitate Truesdell’s shift from a traditional assessment and grading system to a standards-based system. An alumnus of Teach for America, Adam graduated from Colgate University with a BA in political science and from Oxford University with an MPhil in social policy.
