Hira Adaya is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Hira is a special education teacher at Mission Glen Elementary in Houston, Texas. She has served as a resource teacher and PLC leader at Harmony Public Schools. Hira has a strong passion for learning and educating others, leading her to believe that every child can learn when provided the necessary tools to overcome barriers. Her educational qualifications are a BA in sociology and an MEd in education from Lamar University.
