Addison Old is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Senior Policy Fellow who teaches 5th grade self-contained at Casis Elementary School in Austin, Texas. She has been trained in Responsive Classroom strategies, and enjoys incorporating the techniques into community building exercises and social emotional learning with her students. Addison previously taught 4th grade self-contained, 5th grade math and science, and served on the Professional Development Committee at Baldwin Elementary School. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BS in Elementary Education and Human and Organizational Development and received her MPP in Education Policy from Vanderbilt University.
