Comfort Agboola is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow and middle school English teacher at Poe Classical School in Chicago. She is the middle school team leader, providing professional development and coaching. Additionally, Comfort leads the Culture and Climate Team to ensure equitable practices and promote safe, inclusive classroom environments. She serves as Chair of the Nominating Committee for the National Council of Teachers of English and as a board member for the Illinois Writing Project and Tech Unicorn Project. Comfort received the Milken Educator Award (2023), Cook County Co-Regional Teacher of the Year (2025), and is recipient of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology Distinguished Alumni Award (2024). She earned her BS in elementary education from DePaul University and MA in international psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
