Comfort Agboola is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Policy Fellow and middle school English teacher at Poe Classical School in Chicago. She serves as a board member for the Illinois Writing Project and Tech Unicorn Project. Comfort received the Milken Educator Award (2023), Cook County Co-Regional Teacher of the Year (2025), National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE)/Penguin Random House Anne Frank Award (2025), State of Illinois Meritorious Service Award (2023), and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Distinguished Alumni Award (2024). She earned a BS in elementary education from DePaul University, MA in international psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and completed the National Aspiring Principals Fellowship at Clark Atlanta University.
