Syeda Ahmed is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Harmony Teacher Advisory Cabinet Member. Syeda teaches 2nd grade English language arts while accommodating differentiated student learning and overseeing their social needs at the Harmony School of Excellence in Sugar Land, Texas. She has been a 1st and 2nd grade teacher at Harmony HSA for six years. Syeda serves as a mentor teacher to new teachers and annually participates in the campus Continuous Improvement Work Plan to collaborate with colleagues on school goals or concerns for the year. She is also on the campus committee board for the gifted and talented. Syeda is a designated recognized state of Texas Exemplary Teacher. She is a graduate of George Mason University with a BA in English.
