Alicia Serafin teaches English as a Second Language in Everett Public Schools in Massachusetts and is an alumna of the Teach Plus National Policy Advisory Board Member, National Senior Research Fellowship, and Policy Fellowship. She is a Sontag Prize in Urban Education Winner and previously served as a Department of Elementary and Secondary Education-approved Professional Development Provider, a Modern Classrooms Project Mentor, and a member of the Massachusetts’ CUrriculum RAtings by TEachers (CURATE) initiative as both a Middle School Facilitator and an Elementary Panelist since its inception.
