Thamir Aljobori is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow and preK teacher at Circle of Learning in Rockford, Illinois. He leads curriculum planning and instructional design to support early language and literacy development and works with colleagues around social-emotional learning and culturally responsive teaching. Previously, Thamir served as the Bilingual Arabic Curriculum Lead for Rockford Public Schools. He has been honored with the Outstanding Employee Award, Wolverine Certificate of Appreciation, and Certificate of Achievement in recognition of professional excellence. Thamir is an Educating Mindfully board member and Edutopia contributing author, as well as former Chief School Business Official intern. He has actively supported union advocacy efforts. Thamir earned his MBA in project management from Rockford University and MEd in elementary education from Grand Canyon University. He holds a Standard Professional K–8 Teaching License, Bilingual/ESL Endorsement from Olivet Nazarene University, and Pre-K Endorsement.
