Mitzy Allen is a 2026-2027 Teach Plus Arkansas & Mississippi Policy Fellow and 10-12 grade US history and African American history teacher at Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She serves as social studies department lead teacher and campus student group sponsor. Mitzy was named Watson Chapel High School Teacher of the Year (2025-2026). She earned a BS in agricultural business from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and an MS in higher education administration from Southern New Hampshire University. Mitzy is pursuing an EdD in higher education leadership at Liberty University.
