Amanda Fagan is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Indiana Innovations Teacher Collaborative teacher leader who teaches 11th grade English and serves as English Department Coordinator at Herron High School in Indianapolis. Amanda sponsors her campus’ Poetry Out Loud contest and has coached a state runner-up and two winners of the associated Poetry Ourselves writing competition. She graduated from Marian University with a BA in English Education and earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Butler University.
