Amy K. Weisberg is a 2021-22 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow and is a kindergarten teacher at Topanga Elementary Charter School in Topanga. Amy serves on the Safety and School Beautification Committee, the Leadership Council, and has served as grade level chair. Amy previously taught first through fourth grades and six grades as well as serving as a School Readiness Language Development Program teacher. Amy was named 2019 Los Angeles Unified School District Teacher of the Year and Los Angeles County Office of Education Teacher of the Year and is a National Board Certified Teacher. She received her BA in Sociology from the University of California Santa Barbara, a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from the California State University Northridge, and an MEd in Education Administration and Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
