Andrea Parker teaches 6th and 7th grade ELA and social studies at Fulton Elementary on Chicago’s South Side, where she also leads a professional learning community geared towards vocabulary integration across all content areas. A National Board Certified teacher, Andrea previously taught at George Curtis Elementary. She has served as a CPS framework specialist, after-school coordinator, and union delegate. Andrea graduated with a BA in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, earned an MA in Elementary Education from Chicago State University, and an MA in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education (ACE). She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in leadership from ACE.
