Laurie Andresen is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Laurie is a special education instructional coach, and teaches 7th and 8th grade while providing literature services for students with disabilities. She teaches at KIPP Northeast Denver Middle School located in Denver, Colorado. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and Master’s degree in the Arts of Special Education both from Metropolitan State University, and took part in the Dyslexia Certificate Program from San Diego University. Laurie completed both the Inclusive School Leadership Institute and National Principal Academy Fellowship from Relay School of Education.
