Angie Jackson is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Texas Senior Policy Fellow and is a 3rd grade, self-contained teacher at Cleckler-Heald Elementary in Weslaco, Texas. She is the bilingual chairperson for her campus and the UIL chess coach. Angie previously taught a 2nd grade self-contained class and served as grade level chair. She is featured in a published Texas Lesson Study. She graduated from the University of Texas Pan-American in Edinburg with a BA in sociology and received her MEd in teaching from Grand Canyon University.
