Anne Lagace is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Rhode Island Teaching Policy Fellow. Anne teaches 9th-12th grade music at Charles E. Shea High School in Pawtucket, RI, where she is the Class of 2019 advisor. She serves as a member of both the graduation committee and the climate and culture committee. Prior to pursuing a degree in education, Anne completed a year of service with AmeriCorps. Anne serves on the executive board of the Rhode Island Music Educators Association and serves on the Warwick Symphony Orchestra Marketing Committee. Recently she was the recipient of a Rhode Island Foundation Community Grant to create a music studio and creative space for her students. Anne graduated from Gettysburg College and the Sunderman Conservatory of Music with a BA in Music and Psychology and received her MM in Music Education from the University of Rhode Island.
