Natalie Arias is a 2023-24 Teach Plus Texas Senior Policy Fellow. Natalie is the Student Services Facilitator at Stevenson Middle School in San Antonio, Texas. In her instructional/administrative support role, she fosters academic achievement for all students on campus and promotes the growth and development of teachers as a mentor and coach. Natalie began her career in education as an English teacher at Judson High School. Prior to accepting her current role, she taught middle school Art, including advanced and high school credit courses in Northside ISD. Throughout her 10-year career in education, Natalie has served in various campus and district leadership roles and as a Mentor Teacher in partnership with the UTSA College of Education Teacher Preparation Program. She holds Texas SBEC certificates in ELAR, grades 8-12 and All-Level Art. Natalie earned her BA in English from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
