Arnetta Thompson is a 2020-2021 Teach Plus Illinois Senior Policy Fellow. Arnetta is an Enrichment Specialist in the Oak Park Elementary School district. A National Board Certified teacher, Arnetta is the Region 46 Vice-Chair for the Illinois Education Association and a member of the National Board and Teacher Leader Outreach Committee. She graduated with a BA in Elementary Education and American Studies from Lake Forest College, received an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University, and an MA in Supervision and Leadership with a Type 75 endorsement from Concordia University in Chicago.
