Ashley T. Alexander Schauer is a 2018-19 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Ashley is a K-6th grade resource and Response to Intervention (RTI) teacher at Murphy Elementary School in El Sobrante, California. She is a member of the school site council, the student support team, and a Rising Leaders Fellow. Ashley previously served as the 504 coordinator and as a member of the instructional leadership team. She was a VISTA Corps member through AmeriCorps, supporting students and teachers in reading. She received her undergraduate degree from Humboldt State University and her credential and MEd in special education from Loyola Marymount University.
