Reneé Atkinson is a 2026 Teach Plus National Teacher Policy Cabinet Member and high school English and Foundations of Education teacher and serves as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Coordinator at Aynor High School in Aynor, South Carolina.
Reneé previously served as the school’s Instructional Coach. She was named Aynor High School Teacher of the Year (2021–2022), Horry County Schools Teacher of the Year (2023), and the 2024 South Carolina Teacher of the Year. Reneé is a National Board Certified Educator in English Language Arts/Adolescence and Young Adulthood and a 2024 graduate of Leadership South Carolina.
She earned her BA in History from Clemson University, her MEd in Secondary English from Francis Marion University, and her EdS in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.
