Austin Crowder teaches Government and Economics at The Soulsville Charter School in Memphis, where he is also the founding leader of the Street Law program and coaches basketball. Austin has prepared and led professional development sessions at his school, the local Teach for America program, and college campuses. A former Teach for America corps member, Austin graduated from Westmont College with a BA in Social Sciences and Religious Studies.
