Julianna Ayala is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow, and a 7th and 8th grade math teacher at Edwin Markham Middle School in Watts, California. She is currently an instructional leadership team chairperson for the mathematics department. Julie has been a chairperson on the Instructional Leadership Team for the past four years. She earned her BS in Mathematics with a focus in Education from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
