Amy Baranowski is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow. She is a 3rd grade teacher at Thomas M. Peirce Elementary School in Philadelphia, and believes in fostering collaboration with preK partners and providing students with a high-quality early childhood experience. Amy, who began her teaching career in 1999, spent 23 years as an early childhood educator, supporting preschool and kindergarten students. She was a Teacher Leader in the Teach Plus Instructional Leadership Program at her school (2021-2022). Amy earned her National Board Certification in early childhood education and is Girl Scout Troop 71095 co-leader. She earned her BS in both early childhood and special education and her MEd in curriculum and instruction from Lock Haven University.
