Amy Barclay is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Illinois Chicago Change Agent and grades 3-8 special education resource teacher at Sadlowski Elementary in Chicago. She is her school’s Attendance Lead and a member of the Professional Problems Committee, ensuring that teacher contractual rights are consistently upheld. Previously, Amy was on the Sadlowski’s Professional Personnel Leadership Committee. She has taught all grades K-12 as a special education teacher. Amy earned a BA in special education and elementary education from Carthage College, master’s in psychology with a specialization in applied behavior analysis from Capella University, and a Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Theory-School Based Counseling from Capella University.
