Andrea Barnes is a 2024-2025 Philadelphia Affinity Group Network Facilitator and is a 9th grade advisor and history and literature teacher at Vaux Big Picture High School. She has over 10 years of experience in the classroom and has taught in charter schools for the School District of Philadelphia and in Beijing, China. Andrea is a 2023 Lindback award winner at the School District of Philadelphia. Andrea holds her BA from Temple University with a double major in psychology and African-American studies. She earned her MEd in early childhood education from Lincoln University.
